This tool uses Singer factory records to date your Singer sewing machine using its serial number. Once a manufacture date is found a link to finds its approximate value based on previously sold similar Singer sewing machines will be shown. If you have two serial numbers you should enter the larger of the two numbers, the smaller one is actually a 'Register Number' rather than a serial number. The serial number can be found near the power switch, stamped on a brass plate or on the front panel. It will be in the format of either just numbers or with a letter prefix of one or two characters. If you have a dash in the serial number please include it.
